Northern 11-12yr Boys win GOLD at the State Championships in Gladstone.
The Northern team capped a remarkable week by beating South Coast in the final, to be declared State Champions.
The last time the Northern 12yrs Boys Rugby League team won this championship was in 1981 - that
was also when both Peninsula Region and Mackay were are part of the North
Queensland Region.
